Here is a quirky example of simple SEO , its as easy as capanacity itself . The easy way to get to the top of search engines per-se , is to invent something new WQ2RX is a good example – when I first had the idea over 3 years ago , to invent a shed load of non-existant & meaningless tags that conformed to the original WE2RU spec the point was to use google to be an arbiter of their tag value . Of course the natural selection took over (thanks Ozzy) & WQ2RX was born . There were others 10,000 in fact that didnt find favour at first , I keep these under wraps to fit my clients needs but since I invented it SP1NY might be next . Out of boredom is not a phrase I use often cos wherever possible its easy enough to find an alternative . Anyway SPUTNIKIFY is todays example it does not appear on any major search engine – yet – but it will do .
The originator deserves a mention at this point sputnikweb design very appealing , easy to navigate & quick websites that rather put most of my er “designs” to shame . From a SEO angle though , I am putting my money where my mouth is by doing this little experiment .
1. Keyword Analysis is of course what we are doing – but we invent
one new word first & then register the domain .
2. Competitor Analysis. We examine how competitive the keywords you need are. For example “Hudds SEO” has thousands of pages to compete with, but is a relatively easy keyword phrase to get in the top 10, whereas “hotel” has 489 million pages, making it a near impossible exercise to hit the top 10 .
enter the WQ2RX factor – extract raw meta from the dominant search results of say the first 10 using several search engines . Examine the strongest words & or phrases & it should be clear which are top , select no more than 6 (experiment with the order) & add your new wq2rx (tag) & be very patient ! While you grow your beard do the tried & tested , quality relevant links thing & get your site running – typically 1 month – Content Analysis. A critical aspect of SEO page titles, headings and paragraphs need to be rich with the keywords your company is targeting. There is a real art/science/magick in getting this right, as you need to fill your content with keywords while your paragraphs still need to make sense and be informative , without raising suspicions see keyword density (Yahoo seems to be a good indicator of progress as Google takes longer)
create and submit Sitemaps to the major search engines to ensure they find all of your pages .
